Discover More About Botswana
Botswana is a huge country, stretching over 600,000 square kilometres, yet it has a tiny population. It is home to more elephants than any other country.
In the north lies the Okavango Delta, which attracts a myriad of birds and large concentrations of wildlife, such as elephant, lion, leopard, cheetah and meerkat.
Chobe National Park, famed for its enormous elephant population, also lies in the north. In the south is the beautiful Kalahari desert, home to many migratory birds and animals.
As well as the safari opportunities in Botswana, families can also learn bush-tracking and survival skills and camp out wild in the bush.
